Managing Connections
Understanding Redis Connections in Upqueue.io
In Upqueue.io, a connection represents a direct link to a Redis instance. Each connection can include one or multiple queues, depending on how your Redis database is structured.
Viewing and Managing Connections
Connections are listed in the Connections page. After establishing a connection, it appears in the Connections Table, where you can view key information and manage access.
Selecting a connection redirects you to the Queues page, which displays only the queues associated with the selected Redis instance. This filtered view helps you focus on a specific environment or workload.

Setting Up and Managing Connections
If you're using an external Redis host, connections can be purchased separately.
If you provision your Redis instances through Upqueue.io, connections are included by default.
Once a connection is successfully established, a youโll see a green โConnectedโ indication that Upqueue.io is actively connected to your Redis instance. Upon initial setup, the platform will automatically fetch all available queues in your Redis database.
Note: If new queues are added or removed, you must manually refresh the connection to reflect the latest changes.
Connection Status & Troubleshooting
If the connection is healthy, the status icon appears โConnectedโ (green).
If Upqueue.io loses connectivity to Redis, the status icon turns โDisconnectedโ (red).
In case of connection issues, Upqueue.io provides hints on possible causes. If the issue persists, please contact support for further assistance.
